I have had conversations with people who voted for Trump over the last week. I’ve read a lot of things online, both on news sites and on Facebook and Twitter feeds. One of the statements that keeps popping up is “How much does the president really affect your life anyways?”
I’m going to try my best to answer that question. But before I do that, I just want to react to the fact that I keep coming across this statement.
Where I’m seeing this the most is usually as a response from a Trump voter after a Clinton voter expresses their anger about the results of the election. They’re using this to try to calm the other person down. Trying to make you feel as though you’re overreacting.
